YOU’LL SPEND A LOT OF TIME WITH US ON YOUR WEDDING DAY, SO HERE’S A LITTLE ABOUT US…

HI, I’M DAWSON!
Coffee and golf lover. Camera nerd.
What originally started as a side-gig in college turned into a business whirlwind. Originally, I had purchased a camera to take landscape photos and pictures of Josie when we went to watch the sunrise. Being competitive, I set a goal to make my money back that I had spent on my camera, and started doing photoshoots for couples and video work for our school. After being approached by an Admissions Counselor (shoutout to you, Chelsea!) about filming her wedding, I was hooked. Weddings turned into a full-time hustle, and it’s safe to say I have paid for my camera that I bought back in 2017:)
Besides weddings, I have many hobbies, but my favorites are golf and traveling. If you ever want to get out on the course with us before your wedding, let’s just say you’re speaking my language! On the traveling side, we love to see the different landscapes this country and world has to offer. The best blessing is that Josie and I get to experience it all together, and sometimes even through our line of work. Speaking of Josie…
MEET JOSIE THE VIDEOGRAPHER!
Josie is more than just my wife—she’s my creative partner and the driving force behind the films we deliver. After seeing my passion for photographing weddings, she picked up a camera herself, and it didn’t take long for her to carve out her own lane in storytelling. Now, she’s the one capturing the sounds, movement, and emotion of a wedding day—the moments that photos alone can’t hold.
Through her films, you’ll hear the way your partner’s voice shakes during their vows, the roar of laughter during toasts, and the claps and cheers as you walk back down the aisle as husband and wife. You’ll see the sunlight catching your veil, the way your dad’s hands shake just before he gives you away, and the ocean crashing behind your seaside ceremony. This is what Josie preserves—memories in motion, exactly as they happened.
Beyond weddings, she’s one of the hardest-working people I know. We’re currently renovating a mid-1800s farmhouse, and she is the driving force behind the work being done while I’m editing and working on the backend of our business. Whether she’s behind the camera or deep in one of our projects, Josie gives everything her full focus and dedication. I couldn’t imagine a better partner—in work, in life, and in all the moments in between.

Our Story
10 Years Together
Our story started in high school—Dawson was a junior, Josie a sophomore—and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Over the past ten years, we’ve grown together, pursued similar studies in college, and built a life centered around storytelling. What began as a creative passion quickly turned into something bigger: a way to preserve the moments that matter most for couples beginning their own journey together.
As Christians, our faith shapes the way we see marriage—as something sacred, intentional, and deeply meaningful. Even if you don’t share our beliefs, that perspective allows us to tell love stories with a sense of purpose, knowing that your wedding is about far more than just one day. It’s about legacy, commitment, and the people who mean the most to you.
We currently spend our off days renovating our 1862 post and beam house, enjoying time outside, and traveling and exploring National Parks. We love a good restaurant, love to cook, and love to host. Our couples mean a lot to us, and we’d love to be a part of your story.
